Electrophysiology specialist

Consultant cardiologist and electrophysiology specialist at Ascires, with extensive experience and specialised training in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. His main areas of expertise include atrial fibrillation, sudden cardiac death prevention, physiological cardiac pacing, and the management of arrhythmias in patients with congenital heart disease and in paediatric patients.

He is part of CIBERCV (Networked Biomedical Research Centre for Cardiovascular Diseases). He has served as co-director of the Spanish National Pacemaker Registry, co-director of the Working Group on Arrhythmias and Cardiac Pacing in Congenital Heart Disease, and former president of the Cardiac Pacing Section of the Spanish Society of Cardiology. He is currently a member of the Education Committee of the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA).

Author of 168 scientific publications in national and international journals, he has collaborated on and currently participates in multiple research projects related to cardiac arrhythmias.
