Cardiovascular Imaging at Hospital Ascires in Valencia is at the forefront of technology and science, with a complete advanced echocardiography laboratory, 3 Tesla Cardiac Magnetic Resonance and dual-source CT for higher image resolution with minimal radiation.
We are the centre with the greatest experience in performing stress Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (CMR), the technique indicated for the detection of ischaemia.
In addition, we hold the triple European accreditation in general CMR, stress CMR and congenital heart disease imaging, unique in Spain; as well as the highest-level European certification for performing CMR and CCT by our cardiologists.
The medical excellence of the Cardiovascular Imaging team allows us, in addition to offering clinical care, to be an active centre for training and innovation: we train residents and technicians; provide courses and educational programmes and actively participate in congresses; carry out clinical and technological research with the R&D&I department; and participate in multicentre trials for new diagnostic applications.
