PhD in Medicine, specialist in Neurology and Epilepsy; recognised as an Epileptology specialist by the International League Against Epilepsy. His doctoral thesis investigates Video-EEG in patients with drug-resistant epilepsy.

Lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Neuroscience at the University of Valencia.

Member of the EEG Commission of the Spanish Society of Neurology and of the Epilepsy Guidelines Development Group of the Spanish Society of Neurology. Member of the Epilepsy and Intellectual Disability Task Force of the International League Against Epilepsy.

Awarded the Scientific Prize in Epilepsy by the Spanish Society of Neurology in 2014.

Principal investigator in more than 40 clinical trials in Epilepsy over the last 20 years. Author of more than 150 scientific articles on epilepsy, editor of 3 books on epilepsy and member of the scientific committee of several international epilepsy journals.
