Dr Montenegro has been Head of Surgical Services at the Ascires Group since 2019.

As a specialist in cardiovascular surgery, he has received advanced training in adult and paediatric cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and angiology at various hospitals in Spain and abroad.

He has participated in various congresses as a speaker and through presentations. He has also contributed to a number of scientific publications, including books, book chapters, and journal articles, published in both national and international journals.
