With 30 years of professional experience in cardiology departments at national and international hospitals, she is highly specialised in Cardiovascular Imaging: Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, Transoesophageal Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography and Contrast Echocardiography.

She obtained her Degree in Medicine from the University of Navarra in 1996.

She holds a PhD with Cum Laude distinction and was awarded the Extraordinary Doctoral Thesis Award.
Full member of the Spanish Society of Cardiology, as well as other international scientific societies; member of various national working groups and committees.

Author and co-author of more than 400 publications in journals, books, conferences and national and international communications.
